I regret that the client has gone in a different direction and has decided to compromise on the design/materials to achieve a specific budget, which is a great shame, given the effort put in by all of us - a lesson learned for the future. On a lighter note - the project brought me to QTD as a supplier of the highest quality timber and an incredible customer/business support - I am working on a few other projects at the moment, one is a garden room that I would very much like to clad in your product, so i will come back to Pete for a quote once everything is finalised with the client.

Although a large company it is still a family business at its core and I'm happy to say it still treats it's customers as such.
Although my requirements as a DIY'er were very modest I could not have been treated any better.
There were delays in getting the raw material I ordered (not their fault) but, having ascertained what was going to be available in the shortest amount of time I was offered an upgrade in product (to Thermowood Ash) so that they could complete my order and not keep me waiting.
The quality of the machined boards I received was excellent and my project is now complete. I would recommend this company to anyone whether your project is large or small, they are really nice people to deal with.
