British Grown Coastal RedWood (Sequoia)
MADE IN BRITAIN
The Coastal Redwood tree (Sequoia) was introduced to Britain in 1843.
In its native habitat it can grow to over 110m in height but in Britain not more than 40m.
It is now common in formal gardens, managed Estates and Parks. It grows better in the north and west England.
Sequoia has a straight grain with a fine to coarse texture. The material ranges from light cherry-red to dark reddish-brown and is very durable and resistant to most insects and fungi. It is used regularly for interior and exterior cladding.
Sequoia is sourced from Wales and West England as it suits our climate and grows rapidly.
